Skipton Building Society's Grass-roots Initiative

KVCC were short-listed by Skipton Building Society's Grass-roots Initiative as 1 of 304 potential community clubs or projects eligible to receive £500 worth of funding. Whilst this was a fantastic achievement only 164 of the 304 short listed received funding. In order to select which 164 were successful, Skipton Building Society held a vote.

The vote closed in October 2014 and Knowle Village Cricket Club are delighted to announce that thanks to everyone that took the time to vote we successfully came in the top 164 and received £500 funding from the Skipton Building Society!

The club would like to thank Neale Whitfield for entering KVCC into the Skipton Grass-roots initiative, the Skipton Building Society for placing us on the short list and everyone who voted to enable us to be successful. Keep a look out in the "News" tab for how this money will be spent to improve our junior coaching facilities and equipment.
